Check out renowned fashion illustrator David Downton’s latest exhibition at Cromwell Place
This month, Gray M.C.A gallery returns to Cromwell Place with its exhibition ‘Theatre de la Mode’, a two week installation that celebrates one of the world’s most illustrious fashion artists, David Downton. With over a quarter of a century sketching haute couture under his belt, the exhibition curates a series of sketches produced for John Galliano for Dior, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Christian Lacroix, and Valentino, and will feature 20 new works that capture the theatre of fashion. Fans of Downton’s work can buy tickets to ‘It’s All True’ one off evening on 23 November with the artist himself, where he will take the audience through his life in fashion. ‘Theatre de la Mode’ is open now until 26 November.
