A Fine Line in Fashion brings together over 30 original fashion illustrations to celebrate the acclaimed fashion illustrator, journalist and author Gladys Perint Palmer in a retrospective of her outstanding life in fashion. GPP (as she is known in the industry) has lite up the pages of publications including Vogue, The New York Times, L’Officiel, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, The Sunday Times and San Francisco Examiner with her electric illustrations for the last forty years. The exhibition highlights the fine line of a fashion illustrator who not only understands fashion but also the models who have walked the runways for the fashion powerhouses including Dior, Burberry, Balenciaga, Christian Lacroix, Philip Tracey, Oscar de la Renta, Alexander McQueen and Karl Lagerfeld. GPP’s illustrations are full of colour and life with more often than not a sense of mischief that is synonymous with the world of GPP and her front row seat at the haute couture shows in London, Paris, Milan and New York.
To accompany the exhibition in London, Gray M.C.A is delighted to be hosting three events GPP at Cromwell Place.
